"Time to make the donuts!"
As my dad would say. That is exactly what I've been up to for the last few weeks. More than ever, I know how Fred the baker must have felt.
Not with making donuts...
but rather, taking on a new job opportunity and cranking on my dog sculpture for the benefit this Spring! What a whirlwind it has been so far.
I would say the feeling is somewhere between sliding down a 40 foot body slide and
flying at rocket speed miles above the ground. Yep, that's the feeling...it's amazing.
I give God all the glory for every opportunity that has sprung up suddenly this year, and for all the wonderful people I have been privileged to meet and work with. Somehow, I just know this is only the beginning.
I can't reveal any progress photos of the dog that I'm painting for the Southeaster Guide Dog benefit just yet (shhhhh)...but what I can tell you is that the theme is whimsical and has a good story behind it. And I am so excited to share that I have been working with ABC 7 News as my sponsor! With mile stone events "sprinkled" throughout the year, this benefit is going to bring in a lot of positive attention for a very good cause.
What are your goals and dreams for this year? Imagine it happening and close your eyes...and then speak life to it. Make it happen! You've got this.
